Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care settings with precision and compassion
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with strict adherence to protocols
- Monitor and document patient responses using advanced EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree from accredited institution (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required) and PALS preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR system or comparable EHR platforms
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with on-call support
