Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm, evidence-based interventions
- mentor new staff and uphold highest standards of patient safety
Qualifications
- Active TN Registered Nurse license (required)
- BSN preferred, ADN with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (ER, ICU, or Med-Surg)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for patient/family interactions
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced weekend environments
