Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and clinical status, promptly escalating concerns to the charge nurse or physician.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient transitions and continuity of care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
