Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems, needs, and physical, psychological, and social conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed healthcare providers.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatment, documenting all observations and interventions accurately.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
