Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Implement evidence-based nursing practices in emergency and critical care scenarios
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Respond effectively to rapid response and code blue situations
- Mentor junior staff and uphold quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN # required)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 3+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (ER/ICU preferred)
- Weekend shift availability required (Sat-Sun, 7a-7p)
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
