Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric patients during the weekend shift.
- Monitor patient health and report vital changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care provided.
- Support a positive and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred for high-acuity units.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
