Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to address patient needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions in the electronic health record (EHR) accurately and timely.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred (new graduates with excellent clinical skills will be considered).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required by the schedule.
- Proficiency in using computerized charting systems.
