Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care and comprehensive clinical assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition or emergent situations.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately, timely, and completely within the electronic health record system.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healing environment for all patients, families, and visitors.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families during critical times.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
- Ability to remain composed and professional under pressure.
- Flexibility to adapt to the specific workflow of a weekend-only schedule.
