Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Assess patient needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities, assessments, and changes in condition in the electronic health record.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and utilize critical thinking skills in high-pressure situations.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with experience in medical-surgical or critical care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
