Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans during weekend shifts.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and patient charting.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and patient needs.
- Patient Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for patient rights and comfort.
Qualifications
- License: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or Georgia.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, especially in acute care.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
