Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-centered Registered Nurse to manage the full scope of patient care. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of medical care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to changes in clinical status or emergencies.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday).
