Responsibilities
- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with established medical standards and nursing protocols.
- Administer Medications: Safely and accurately administer medications and treatments while closely monitoring patient responses and vitals.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient management.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, charts, and clinical documentation in a timely manner.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to code blues and emergency situations, demonstrating quick critical thinking and decisive action.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Kansas.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates are considered with strong clinical rotations.
- Skills: Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems, strong critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
