Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with proper radiation safety protocols
- Manage patient records using our cloud-based dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Coordinate telehealth consultations for pre/post-operative care
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials while maintaining strict infection control standards
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans via virtual platforms
- Support inventory management and supply chain coordination for multiple clinic locations
Qualifications
- Current Florida Dental Assistant certification and radiology license
- 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance for remote patient interactions
- Excellent communication skills for virtual patient education
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clinic standards
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with teledentology platforms preferred
