Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures with chairside support and instrument management
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging using remote-access software
- Manage patient records through HIPAA-compliant cloud-based systems
- Coordinate virtual consultations and follow-up communications
- Sterilize equipment and maintain treatment areas per OSHA standards
- Train on new dental technologies through virtual onboarding modules
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar practice management software
- Strong telehealth communication skills and digital literacy
- Ability to work independently while maintaining patient safety protocols
- Valid CPR certification and Georgia dental radiography permit
