Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Perform chairside support, instrument sterilization, and OSHA compliance monitoring
- Manage digital patient records and scheduling via remote desktop systems
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays with digital imaging software
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and equipment for procedures
- Deliver post-op instructions and patient education remotely
- Coordinate lab orders and inventory management through cloud-based platforms
Qualifications
- Current DANB/CDA certification or Arizona dental assistant license
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Experience with digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- Exceptional communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clinical excellence
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
