Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols
- Manage surgical equipment and inventory control
- Document procedural information accurately in electronic health records
- Coordinate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year recent surgical tech experience
- Knowledge of all surgical specialties (ortho, neuro, general, etc.)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work flexible shifts including on-call weekends
- Strong attention to detail and crisis management skills
