Responsibilities
- Accurately process and verify prescriptions through our digital pharmacy platform
- Provide exceptional virtual patient consultations on medication usage and side effects
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies for prior authorizations
- Maintain precise electronic health records and inventory management systems
- Support medication synchronization programs for chronic care patients
- Train on new pharmacy technologies and compliance protocols
- Collaborate with Newark-based pharmacy team for complex cases
Qualifications
- Active NJ Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, QS1)
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
