Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, sterilize equipment, and arrange surgical instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Document surgical cases remotely using our digital health platform
- Manage inventory and restock supplies for multiple surgical specialties
- Collaborate with surgical teams via telehealth coordination tools
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and sterile processing protocols
- Participate in continuous training for new surgical technologies
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential
- Minimum 2 years of scrub tech experience in hospital setting
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work hybrid schedule (3 days on-site, 2 remote)
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing standards
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to cover various surgical subspecialties
- Valid CPR certification
