Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough virtual patient assessments via telehealth platform
- Provide accurate medical triage and urgent care recommendations
- Collaborate with providers to develop patient care plans
- Document clinical encounters using EMR systems with precision
- Educate patients on home care and preventive measures
- Manage high call volumes during peak hours efficiently
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland (required)
- 3+ years clinical experience in emergency/urgent care
- BLS/ACLS certification (maintained)
- Proficiency with telehealth software (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EMR systems preferred
