- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits before service rendering
- Conduct thorough claim follow-ups and denials management
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and billing standards
- Generate monthly reports on key revenue cycle metrics
- Collaborate with providers to resolve billing discrepancies
- Update patient accounts with insurance and payment information
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EHR billing systems
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial)
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience with denial analysis and appeals processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
