As a vital member of our remote pharmacy team, you'll process prescriptions with precision, coordinate with healthcare providers, and ensure seamless medication delivery. Responsibilities
- Accurately process and verify electronic prescriptions in compliance with Florida state regulations
- Coordinate with physicians and patients via telehealth platforms for medication counseling
- Manage inventory tracking and order fulfillment for mail-order pharmacy operations
- Utilize pharmacy software (e.g., Omnicell, QS1) for dispensing documentation
- Assist in resolving insurance claim discrepancies and prior authorizations
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and secure data protocols
- Participate in quarterly virtual continuing education programs
Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license (CPhT) required
- Minimum 1 year retail or mail-order pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and telehealth platforms
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing
- Excellent written communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High-speed internet connection and dedicated home office space
- Basic knowledge of IV compounding and sterile preparation preferred
