Responsibilities
- Accurately process and verify prescription orders in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Manage inventory levels, track expiration dates, and coordinate medication shipmentsProvide exceptional customer service via telehealth platforms for patient inquiries
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy databases with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate with pharmacists on medication therapy management and clinical support
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (remote experience preferred)
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., QS/1, Omnicell, or similar systems)
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications, medical terminology, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in healthcare preferred
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
