Responsibilities
- Accurately process and verify prescription orders through our digital pharmacy platform
- Provide exceptional patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and adherence
- Collaborate with pharmacists to resolve drug interactions and clinical inquiries
- Maintain precise electronic health records and regulatory compliance documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies for prior authorizations
- Support inventory management and controlled substance protocols remotely
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for telepharmacy services
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- 1+ years of pharmacy experience (remote/telepharmacy preferred)
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., Omnicell, QS1) and EMR systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in medication verification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in remote teams
- Basic computer troubleshooting skills and reliable high-speed internet
- CPhT certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
