Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough phone-based patient assessments to determine urgency and appropriate care pathways
- Provide expert medical advice and triage services per established clinical protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with on-site providers and specialists to coordinate patient care
- Manage high call volumes with empathy and efficiency during peak times
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BSN degree or equivalent certification
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Proficient in telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
