Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephonic and virtual patient assessments using evidence-based triage protocols
- Provide clinical guidance to patients regarding symptoms, treatment options, and care escalation
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists regarding complex cases
- Manage patient follow-ups and care coordination across the continuum
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance in all virtual interactions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years ER, urgent care, or telehealth experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EMR systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Experience with triage protocols (e.g., ESI, Manchester)
