Responsibilities

- Optimize claim submission and denial resolution processes
- Conduct advanced insurance verification and pre-authorization
- Analyze performance metrics to identify revenue leakage points
- Mentor junior billing staff on compliance protocols
- Collaborate with finance teams on financial reporting
- Ensure HIPAA and CMS compliance across all billing activities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in multi-specialty environments
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
- Advanced proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Proven track record of reducing denial rates by 20%+
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial details
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payer contracts
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management preferred
