- Process complex medical claims with 99.5% accuracy across multiple insurance platforms
- Optimize revenue cycle through meticulous charge entry and payment posting
- Resolve denials and appeals with strategic negotiation techniques
- Ensure HIPAA/FDA compliance in all billing operations
- Train junior billers on advanced coding systems (CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10)
- Analyze billing data trends to identify process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure documentation accuracy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial insurance carriers
- Advanced certification (CPC, COC, or CCS-P) required
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or NextGen preferred)
- Proven track record in reducing AR days by 30%+
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in billing analytics tools
