Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify dosages under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control systems and coordinate medication ordering for 3+ locations
- Provide exceptional patient consultations on medication usage and side effects
- Operate automated dispensing systems and maintain sterile compounding areas
- Process insurance claims and maintain HIPAA-compliant electronic health records
- Train junior technicians on pharmacy protocols and safety procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy management
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 3 years retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- CPR certification and knowledge of sterile compounding guidelines
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
