Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Implement strict OSHA/CDC infection control protocols
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Oversee sterilization and instrument processing workflows
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal supply inventory
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene
- Assist with digital charting and practice management software
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- 3+ years clinical dental assisting experience
- Advanced knowledge of dental radiography techniques
- Proficiency with digital imaging systems (e.g., Dexis, Schick)
- Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment
