Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using advanced triage protocols and prioritize critical cases
- Collaborate with physicians to develop immediate care plans for high-acuity patients
- Lead interdisciplinary teams during emergency situations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with detailed documentation
- Train and mentor junior triage staff on best practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for emergency care workflows
Qualifications
- BSN degree with current Hawaii RN license
- Minimum 5 years emergency department experience
- Triage certification (ENPC/ATCN preferred)
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
- Excellent communication abilities in diverse healthcare settings
