Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize emergency cases using ESI protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
- Utilize Epic EHR systems for accurate documentation and care coordination
- Provide patient education on triage processes and emergency care pathways
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and TN state nursing regulations
- Lead triage team during high-volume shifts and crisis situations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license with minimum 3 years ER experience
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- ENPC or TNCC certification required
- ACLS/BLS certifications maintained
- Demonstrated proficiency in emergency triage protocols
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities in high-stress environments
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
