Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize emergency cases using ESI protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to develop rapid treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Oversee junior triage staff and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to mass casualty incidents and disaster scenarios
- Coordinate with specialist departments for streamlined patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license with minimum 3 years ED experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- Expertise in ESI 5-level triage methodology
- Demonstrated leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency required
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
