Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take digital radiographs and perform chairside assistance
- Manage patient records and scheduling systems
- Deliver pre/post-op instructions and educate patients
- Maintain sterile treatment rooms and inventory
- Coordinate with front desk for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-recognized)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and imaging software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional Saturdays
- Valid Arizona state radiography permit
