Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Accurately document patient care and observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment
- Support emotional well-being through patient interaction and activities
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of acute care or long-term experience
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear TB test and background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in EMR documentation systems
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
