Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with provided sterile instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments per strict aseptic protocols
- Count and track surgical supplies before/during/after procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot provided surgical equipment (scopes, monitors, etc.)
- Document procedural activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with RNs and anesthesia teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- 2+ years recent OR experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing and instrumentation
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to work in fast-paced surgical environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to cover various surgical specialties
- Proficiency with provided surgical equipment systems
