Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures using provided advanced surgical technology
- Maintain sterile fields and implement aseptic techniques
- Manage and sterilize specialized equipment per manufacturer protocols
- Document surgical cases accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with surgical team for efficient case turnover
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazard materials
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years of surgical technology experience
- Proficiency with provided surgical equipment (laparoscopic, robotic, etc.)
- BLS certification required
- Knowledge of sterile processing standards
- Ability to work in fast-paced surgical environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to cover various surgical specialties
