Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with advanced surgical equipment and sterile instruments
- Assist surgeons during complex procedures using provided specialized tools
- Maintain sterile environments and implement aseptic techniques
- Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment including robotic systems
- Document procedures accurately using electronic health records
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience with advanced equipment
- Proficiency in robotic surgical systems (da Vinci preferred)
- BLS certification and current state license
- Ability to operate sterilization equipment and endoscopic tools
- Strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
