Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical equipment and supplies following strict protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Operate and troubleshoot provided surgical technology (endoscopes, monitors, etc.)
- Manage equipment inventory and restock provided surgical kits
- Document procedures using provided electronic health record systems
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to OSHA safety standards
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 2+ years of acute care OR experience
- Proficiency with provided surgical equipment (training provided)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and sterile technique
- Excellent communication skills in high-pressure settings
