Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields with provided equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures with instrument passing and sterile technique
- Maintain sterile environments and follow strict aseptic protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot provided surgical equipment (e.g., cameras, retractors)
- Inventory and manage provided surgical instruments and supplies
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure procedural efficiency
- Document equipment usage and maintenance per hospital standards
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Minimum 2 years OR experience in sterile processing
- Expertise with provided surgical equipment systems
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work in fast-paced surgical environments
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
