Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and arranging surgical instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Handle specimens and biological materials according to safety protocols
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies between surgeries
- Document procedural details and equipment usage in electronic health records
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
