Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and nurses during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce infection control protocols
- Count and manage surgical instruments and supplies pre/post-procedure
- Transport patients to/from surgical areas with safety protocols
- Document procedural activities and maintain accurate records
- Assist with patient positioning and sterile draping techniques
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year recent surgical tech experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure emergency situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
