Responsibilities
- Manage patient calls and triage inquiries via secure telehealth platforms during the night shift.
- Provide accurate clinical assessments and appropriate interventions based on established protocols.
- Document all patient interactions and medical records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement processes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting (ER, ICU, or Telemetry preferred).
- Experience with remote patient monitoring or telehealth platforms is a plus.
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate EMR systems efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
