Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and specialized units
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals, assess conditions, and document clinical observations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, JCAHO standards, and regulatory requirements
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge procedures
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years acute care experience considered)
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; specialty certifications preferred
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience in relevant specialty
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
