Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings within Lubbock area hospitals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and facility protocols
- Participate in emergency response procedures as needed
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state with willingness to obtain TX license
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and specialty certifications (e.g., TNCC, ENPC) required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
