Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care and accurate patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Ensure strict compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky (or eligible for compact state license).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to travel for temporary assignments and adapt to new environments quickly.
