Your Mission
You will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting while enjoying the cultural richness of South Florida.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Utilize remote charting capabilities to document patient care efficiently and accurately from home.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Adhere to all state nursing regulations and facility-specific policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care or relevant nursing experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong computer proficiency, specifically with electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote documentation tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate critical thinking skills in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to adapt to different unit specialties and shift rotations as needed.
