Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with facility protocols and standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform specialized clinical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and document assessments accurately in EMR systems
- Respond to emergency situations with swift, evidence-based interventions
- Participate in shift-to-shift communication and handovers for continuity of care
- Maintain sterile environments and ensure proper infection control practices
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license in Texas
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Passing background check and drug screening
