Responsibilities
- Provide critical care for ICU patients with advanced monitoring and intervention skills
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and facility protocols
- Participate in emergency response and rapid response activations
- Provide patient/family education on conditions and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience (telemetry preferred)
- BSN degree or higher (ADN with experience considered)
- Proficiency in EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Flexibility for 12-hour shifts and on-call duties
