Responsibilities
- Deliver expert patient care in ICU/Telemetry units with 4:1 patient ratios
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols with precise documentation
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, EKGs, and hemodynamic parameters
- Provide rapid response interventions for critical patient situations
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU/Telemetry experience
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Travel nursing experience highly valued
- Exceptional assessment and critical thinking skills
- Strong electronic medical record proficiency
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
