Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care according to established nursing protocols and standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas (or compact state eligibility).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS preferred based on unit).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
